What part of "self-defense" don't you understand?? Isn't is obvious to you that Mr. Dixon was ONLY trying to defend himself and his family from an intruder, a home invader? Did you know that in MOST jurisdictions, home invasion is considered reason for justifiable homicide??
Oops, my mistake. I forgot that in New York City and immediate vicinity (including Brooklyn) there's NEVER any reason for justifiable homicide. In fact, isn't against the law in NY to defend yourself from criminal attack? If it isn't, why is Mr. Dixon being persecuted??? Oops, sorry, I meant "prosecuted". Actually, I think I had it right the first time.
