Michigan State Senator Jaye held to higher
standard than President Clinton?

Well, they finally went and did it. On Friday, May 25, 2001 the Michigan State Senate voted 32 to 2, to expel State Senator David Jaye for being accused of possible misdemeanors and felonies. He was arrested in Florida for allegedly attacking his fiance/girlfriend. But, the charges were later dropped. So far as I know he is not currently under indictment for anything else.

It's odd to me, President Clinton gets caught lying to Congress and nothing happens to him. David Jaye is accused of crimes, but the charges are later dropped, and he gets expelled from the State Senate!

But the differences, Jaye is a Republican, Clinton is a Democrat. Coincidence? You tell me.
