My Views on Religion

Basically, Organized religion sucks. That's just my opinion of course, but I'm beginning to see organized religion in the same light as government. You have a body of people who've managed to get into a position of power within their organization, and THEY are telling you what you can, or can't do in your everyday lives. And they base this on THEIR interpretation of the Bible. AND, if you have the gall to interpret the Bible differently from them, they tell you, and everyone else that you are NOTHING but servants of Satan.

Now, I'm not saying that you should all quit going to church/synagogue/temple or whatever. All I'm saying is that for me, organized, traditional religion has NOTHING to offer. Except maybe a minor headache. If you remember little else about my web site, remember this, ALL of these pages are my opinion. MINE alone. No one else's. This is a simple statement of my attitudes and political opinions. They are presented in the hope that you will get a little closer to understanding the person that I am. And when it comes to religion, I'm not very religious, by normal standards. If that offends you, I'm sorry, but that is the way that I am.

And so you're not too confused, yes, I am an ordained minister of the ULC. But if you think that the ULC is as organized as the more, tradtional churches, you've not looked very closely at the Universal Life Church.
