My thoughts on Racism

Racism sucks! To be more precise, racists suck! I have never been able to understand white racists' claim that nonwhite people are inferior in mental capacity, or morals. In fact, I have observed that usually racist people seem to be more lacking in morals AND intelligence than the people they tend to hate. However, this isn't always the case. There are some very intelligent people out there who are racist, and that is a scary thought, that anyone with a bit of intelligence could be racist, when logic and common sense should tell them it's wrong.

And while many will spout "facts" that they claim prove their point of view, they will conveniently forget that most serial killers are WHITE males. Most white collar crimes are committed by Whites. They also tend to overlook the fact that for black criminals, most of their victims tend to be other Blacks.

By the way, I don't like Black racists either, and there are Blacks in the world who are racist. I don't buy into the PC (politically correct), namby pamby revisionist theory that blacks can't be racist because they were slaves 130+ years ago. That's total CRAP! Racism isn't based on current or past social standing, it's an attitude. Either you're racist, or you're not. And there's no such thing as being "a little racist". Being just "a little racist" is just as bad as being A LOT racist.

And being racist doesn't just mean telling racist jokes. It's just as bad if you listen to a joke, and say nothing about it, or laugh with the person telling it, yet claim to hate it. I know I used to be that way. Now I will tell the person who told the joke that I don't appreciate it one little bit. Fortunately, most of my current friends have decided on their own not to tell racist jokes anymore.
